To collaborate in research and have access to data, you must be trained in human subjects research ethics and principles. This free, two-hour training from Penn’s Community Engagement and Research Core is approved by the Institutional Review Boards (IRBs) of the University of Pennsylvania, The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, and Thomas Jefferson University, meaning community partners can complete this training instead of the longer CITI training that academics are required to complete.
