As a Voluntary Service Specialist, my role revolves around providing support and assistance to Veterans. Since I began this work in 2019, I’ve been deeply engaged in various aspects of veteran support. One area that particularly resonate with me is addressing food insecurity among Veterans. I believe that forging partnerships within the community can be instrumental in creating effective solutions to this pressing problem. By collaborating with local organizations, business, and government agencies, we can pool resources and expertise to develop sustainable initiative that alleviate food insecurity and improve the well-being of our veterans.
