Lisa Quattlebaum

Founder, Werk Culture (The Homesteadista)

Executive Director

My work centers on developing holistic, women-centered leadership and organizational development programs that tackle equity, well-being, and workplace culture. For over 15 years, I’ve led interdisciplinary initiatives that blend community-based research, strategic consulting, and advocacy to challenge structural barriers facing women—particularly in urban and public sector environments. I’m especially interested in community-academic partnerships that explore the intersection of work, gender, culture, and city systems, using qualitative and ethnographic methods to surface lived experiences that can shape more inclusive policies and practices. Through initiatives like Werk Culture, I’ve engaged diverse stakeholders using storytelling, visual tools, and participatory design to spark systems-level change. I value partners who are committed to co-creation, real-world impact, and bridging research with action. As a collaborator, I bring strategic clarity, cultural fluency, and a deep commitment to transforming data and dialogue into meaningful policy shifts.
