Felicia Morrison

Founder: Friends With Benefits Coalition INC

Felicia Morrison, MSN, MBA, RN, is a Senior Improvement Advisor and Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB)

My work involves advancing health equity and system improvement through community-driven initiatives, and I have been doing this work for several years as a registered nurse, Senior Improvement Advisor, and Six Sigma Green Belt. As the founder of the Friends with Benefits Coalition, I leverage collective impact strategies to address gaps in care, particularly for underserved and marginalized populations. I am especially interested in community-academic partnerships that center lived experience, improve access to services, and support initiatives like the Hold My Spot pilot, which is currently in progress to address real-time barriers in care coordination. In terms of past partnership experience, I have worked across healthcare systems, community organizations, and cross-sector teams to design and implement sustainable, data-driven improvements. The ideal partner for me and my organization is one that values equity, co-creation, and measurable impact; as a partner, you can expect strategic leadership, implementation expertise, and a deep commitment to community voice and outcomes.

Mayor Cherelle Parker’s ‘One Philly’ commitment to end homelessness reflects the same principle behind Friends with Benefits Coalition—real change happens when systems work together. Through initiatives like Hold My Spot, we are operationalizing that vision by removing barriers to access and ensuring people don’t lose their place in care while navigating complex systems.
