Shannin Smith

Hello, my name is Shannin Smith I am the CEO and founder of the non- profit organization, Odyssey of Eden doula services. I am a state certified doula. I am affiliated with organizations such as Maternity care coalitions doula network, Drexel’s Newborns and neighbors (peer support specialist), Irth app’s Philadelphia Ambassadors cohort, University of Penn’s CVD risk assessment and OVA’s lived experience experts. My work deals with decreasing maternal mortality and morbidity. I am working to assist women,/birthing individuals, infants and toddler issues. I offer doula support, Educational workshops, Community baby showers, support groups and more! My latest mission is to extremely decrease/ possible eliminate pre-eclampsia/ eclampsia in pregnancy and postpartum. I am seeking partnerships with hospitals, community centers and other maternal health advocates.  As a partner, you can expect me and my non- profit organization to go above and beyond to make change and to create a better tomorrow!
