Rachel Myers

I am a public health researcher, interested understanding how to best support recovery after violence for young people and their families and improving our ability to show that community-based violence prevention programs work to improve health and well-being. I have been working in this area for the last 13 years. I have co-lead community-academic partnerships to build and evaluate programs addressing trauma and sustain capacity for programs to engage in trauma-informed programming for young people. As a partner, I look forward to helping to design projects that address urgent needs and inform evaluation efforts to minimize burden and highlight the powerful work being achieved.
