In my current role, I center the experiences of our clients and expertise of our staff to tell our community’s and client stories through data. I use existing program data and develop and adapt data collection tools based on the needs of our clients and programs, with a guiding priciple of collecting the most impactful insight while compensating folks for sharing their experience and expertise in a trauma-informed way. Prior to my current role, I was the senior services and nutrition programs director for seven years, adapting to the changing needs of our community over time. With an eye to learning, growing and adapting, I am looking for a community-academic partnership to marry LSH’s expertise in domestic violence counseling and prevention and senior community services to implement an elder abuse prevention program to promote healthy relationships and support networks while responding to abuse disclosure with in house counseling and support. LSH has experience in working with universities and hospitals to partner on programs and research through our domestic violence program’s Research Advisory Board which we plan to implement for our senior services work as well.
