My work involves reducing harm from injury and violence through injury prevention and through developing interventions to improve holistic healing after injury and other acute health problems. My work aims to make the most out of each acute health care encounter, through interventions such as firearm safety device distribution, insurance enrollment and healthcare connection, and dedicated support for survivors of violent injury. I hope to build partnerships and collaboration to improve injury and violence prevention in a variety of settings.
